Sadie's First Smiles

How could my life not be great when I get to look at this all day! We love her SO much!

Gingerbread Houses

Every year on Thanksgiving weekend we get together with Devin's family to have a gingerbread house competition. It seems to be getting harder with all of the grandkids and it was getting a little too competitive, so we decided this year to not make it a competition and to just have fun building house. Though I did miss the trash talk it was nice to not have the pressure of the competition. Sadie pretty much slept through the whole thing, when there is a lot of noise around we can not seem to keep her awake. We hope that this means she will nap well when we are at Disney World with my family after Christmas. It was fun to be able to spend the day with Smith's.

I thought this picture of Benson and Camille playing the piano was just so cute!

Happy Birthday Devin

Yesterday was Devin's Birthday, he turned 25! He thinks that 25 sounds so old, but I don't agree I think it still sounds pretty young - yesterday he said to me "I am half way to 50!" On Sunday we celebrated Devin and my brothers birthday and next Sunday we are celebrating with Devin's family, so it is a week of celebrations! Though last night we had a little party just with our family. I made pumpkin cake, Devin's favorite, put up a banner, and Sadie (with mom's help) decorated a shirt that said "Happy Birthday Daddy." I am truly grateful for Devin and am thankful everyday that he was born! He is such an amazing husband and father and our lives are so blessed because of him - HAPPY BIRTHDAY, WE LOVE YOU!

Cute Pictures of Sadie!!

Being a new mom I can't seem to get enough pictures of Sadie, I always have my camera handy! Here a few that I love.

Azelynn's 3rd Birthday!

Yesterday we got to go to Azelynn, our nieces, 3rd birthday party! We had a lot of fun being with family at the park and watching Azelynn have a Happy Birthday.

Azelynn was so excited to eat her cake! She kept saying, "Eat cake now?" and we had to keep putting her off. She didn't understand why we had to eat dinner first, then open presents and then eat the cake. As you can tell by her face she loved it! Diana said that they picked the cake up yesterday and had it in the refridgerator and Azelynn kept going to look at it and saying "My Cake!". She was such a happy birthday girl! Here is a picture of Devin and I from the party. I think my chubby round face says it all, I am only 3 days away from my due date!!!

The Pumpkin Patch

Every year my family goes to the Pumpkin Patch to pick out our pumpkins and gourds, it's my favorite thing! My mom, Val and I love finding all of the fun gourds to decorate our houses with - I just love the fall and I love decorating my house for the fall! We were suppose to go the Saturday of Conference weekend, but because of all of the rain our plans had to change. We went last week and Devin wasn't able to go with us because of work and trying to coordinate schedules, I really missed him and wished he could have been there, but we still had a lot of fun! And don't worry Devin did get in on some of the fun, he helped me clean them when I got home, isn't he lucky - he was so sweet to help even though he missed the fun part! Here are a few pictures from our trip!
And this last picture isn't from the patch, but I thought it was festive for Halloween. Carson put this headband on Brynnley and she loved it, she sat with it on for about 10 minutes and of course we all got our cameras out!
